Can’t get to the App

I just downloaded this. I am running iOS 8.1.2 on an iPhone 6 Plus.
When I open the app, it shows me “Today’s Free Deal”. There is no way to close the deal and get to the app itself. I have closed and reopened the app numerous times. Makes the app completely useless.
I used to have this app installed (back in iOS 5) and it worked well. Too bad. There are too many alternative apps for me to waste more time one this one.
